Scottish Episcopalians Attend Record-Breaking Glasgow Pride March

A group of Scottish Episcopalians were amongst the record-breaking 50,000 attendees Glasgow’s Pride march today.
The Rt Rev Kevin Pearson, Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway, and the Very Rev Reuben Preston, Dean of the Diocese, greeted marchers along the way at the Diocesan office in the centre of Glasgow, where they met with the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, who was also marching.

The Very Rev Kelvin Holdsworth, provost of St Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow, writes: ” Today’s Glasgow Pride March was the biggest ever held in Scotland. The Scottish Episcopal Church was well represented both at the march and at the Pride Hub afterwards… At the stall in the Hub we referred enquirers to churches in Glasgow and Galloway, Edinburgh, Argyll and The Isles, and St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane. Look out for new faces in churches in those Dioceses in the next few weeks.”
