The Rt Rev Kevin Pearson, Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway, is pleased to announce the appointment of the Rev Wilhelmina Nesbitt, Rector of St John’s, Greenock, as the newest canon of St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, Glasgow.

Willi has served in the Diocese since 2017, in a journey of ordained ministry spanning over two decades from Bridgnorth in the Diocese of Hereford, through Saddleworth in the Diocese of Manchester and Fanlobbus in the Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross, to St John’s in Greenock.

In due course, I will let you all know the details of her installation at the Cathedral as many of you will be looking forward to supporting her in this next step of her ministry amongst us.”

Please pray for Willi and the Diocese, as we follow God’s call for the future of God’s people in Glasgow and Galloway.
