This August, Bishop Nick will embark on a three-day tour across Galloway, visiting churches, meeting with congregations, and connecting with communities at the heart of local ministry.

From Tuesday 12 August to Thursday 14 August, members of the Scottish Episcopal Church and the wider public are warmly invited to join Bishop Nick at the scheduled stops listed below. This is a great opportunity to meet the Bishop in an informal setting, share stories about your local church, ask questions, and pray together.
Throughout the tour, Bishop Nick is keen to listen and learn—to hear how faith is lived out in towns, villages, and rural communities. Whether you’re part of a congregation or simply curious about the life of the church, this is an open invitation to engage, reflect, and celebrate the vibrant Christian presence in Galloway.
Each visit includes time for informal conversation, and some locations will also offer lunch or a shared meal. There will also be a special service on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm in St Margaret’s, New Galloway, when Bishop Nick will celebrate the appointment of the Rev Dr Elizabeth Breakey as Rural Dean.
