Our Man in Prague

Posted Sunday 27 January 2008

How the Rev Canon Philip Noble of St Ninian’s in Prestwick found himself in Prague filming this Audi A4 television ad for broadcast in Spain is a bit of a mystery. But he did…

Actually, we do know how it happened.

As the St Ninian’s church website explains, Philip has led workshops worldwide on a number of creative subjects. One speciality is Origami and he has contributed to several books on the subject. He has written a couple of books on string figures and is currently writing a book on Kirigami.

He is author of a book, ‘Fool of the Kingdom’, published in 1996 and has just completed a Dictionary of Saints - see Philip’s books on Amazon. He has been involved in the performing arts for many years as storyteller, clown and conference speaker. Philip has performed in cathedrals, prisons, schools, libraries, theatres and outdoor events.

He is a founder member of the Holy Fools, an association for Christian clowns in U.K., and co-founded the International String Figures Association
