The three congregations of the Glasgow East End Team Ministry (St John’s, St Serf’s and St Kentigern’s) gathered on Saturday 20 June to celebrate the institution of Andrew Richardson as their priest.
The service was held in the Dennistoun New Parish Church where the congregation of St Kentigern’s meet and share the premises with the Church of Scotland congregation.
The Revd David Shepherd, rector of St Mary’s Magdalene (where Andrew had served his curacy) preached the sermon while Bishop Idris instituted Andrew as Rector.
After the service the congregation gathered in the church hall for refreshments.
