You are invited to a meeting in the Crypt of St Bride’s, Hyndland on Tuesday 6 October 2-4pm to discuss the most recent draft of the Anglican Covenant, which may be downloaded from here. This discussion will inform the Diocesan comments to the Provincial Faith and Order Board which will respond to the Anglican Communion Office
A brief, factual introduction to the Ridley draft will be given by the Revd Canon James Milne, who has been involved in similar presentations for General Synod. There will then be a general discussion, focusing on Section 4, during which all views and perspectives will be welcomed.
Whether or not you are able to attend the meeting, you are invited to send individual responses to before the meeting, and they will be made available to the meeting, and passed on to the Faith & Order Board along with the response of the meeting.
Please advise if you will be present, by 30th September.
