Description

Journey in Faith 2 - Trinity & Church commencing
17th/18th April - 21st/22nd May 2012

This six week course, from the Diocesan Education Action Group, follows on from Unit 1 but participants are welcome to join it on its own.  The sessions are available at two locations:

Holy Trinity, Portland Road, Kilmarnock KA1 on Tuesday evenings led by Bishop Gregor and

St Margaret’s, 353/355 Kilmarnock Rd, Newlands, G43 2DS on Wednesday evenings led by Prof David Jasper

Sessions 1, 2 and 3

    God the Father as Creator, Judge – including the problem of evil
        God the Son: Who is Jesus – divine and human
            God the Holy Spirit: Who is the Holy Spirit?
                What does the Holy Spirit do?

                  Session 4 and Session 5

                    The development of the early Church up to the end of the patristic period

                      How the SEC came into being

                          What a Church is – by looking at different contemporary models of Church

                            Session 6

                              God’s call to the Church and to us as individuals
                                  What does all this mean for us?
